GALLERY: Oswego welcomes Christmas Walk back to Main Street

The Toyland train entertained families in downtown Oswego, bringing them from one end of Main Street to the other, during Oswego's Christmas Walk celebration Dec. 3.

Main Street in Oswego was filled with eager families Friday night, as Oswego’s Christmas Walk returned to downtown Oswego.

The Christmas Walk, a seasonal favorite in Oswego, did not take place in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But it returned in full force Dec. 3, with visits from Santa Claus, the Silent Illuminated Parade, bounce houses, and plenty of family activities.

This year’s Christmas Walk also included a new skit to help light Oswego’s Christmas tree, featuring Village President Troy Parlier, Charlie Brown and his friends.

Holiday festivities continued Saturday, Dec. 4 with the downtown Cookie Walk, and will continue with the return of the Holiday Drive. The drive will be through Friday, Dec. 10 at Venue 1012; 1012 Station Drive, Oswego.
