Deputies responded to the scene shortly after 11:30 p.m. following reports of an armed robbery at Lovers Playground in Oswego Township, according to a news release from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
At the May 6 Oswego Village Board meeting, village trustees unanimously approved an ordinance providing for the issuance of not to exceed $24.3 million in general obligation bonds to generate the necessary $20 million in project costs expected this year.
The city is closing Boombah Boulevard on Thursday, May 15, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A detour has been designated, taking drivers along Corneils Road to Route 47.
