Kaneland senior Isaiah Gipson keyed an early run off the bench and the Knights remained unbeaten with a 77-45 nonconference win over visiting St. Charles North Wednesday.

Aubrina Adamik scored a game-high 19 points, Evie Freundt added 12, and the Huntley defense stifled Burlington Central on Tuesday, using active hands and footwork to force several turnovers in a 70-41 Fox Valley Conference victory.

In his first varsity start Friday night at Wheaton North, Geneva junior David Udoiwod had the game of his life, knocking down five 3-pointers in the first half on his way to a career-best 32 points as the Vikings picked up a key DuKane Conference victory.

Joe Reid picked up a hot hand midway through the second quarter, scoring 17 of his 22 points in the frame, to help Batavia to a 56-46 victory over St. Charles East.

Kaneland stayed unbeaten after a huge second‑half surge in a 65-56 win over Sycamore on Friday. Marshawn Cocroft powered the Knights with 18, while Sycamore’s Marcus Johnson dropped 16 before fouling out.

St. Francis senior Carter Clark, who scored a team-high 17 points in a win over South Elgin and 22 points in a victory over Andrew during the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic, is the Kane County Chronicle Athlete of the Week.
