Rochelle junior football player Dylan Manning underwent surgery at Loyola Medical Center to remove a blood clot and remove pressure on his brain after suffering a head injury in Friday night’s game at Morris. Manning’s condition was reported on the Rochelle Hubs Facebook page.

Byron and Forreston competed at the 1A Pearl City Regional held at Wolf Hollow Golf Course in Lena on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025. The Tigers finished third to advance to the sectional as a team. Forreston's Kaden Brown finished third overall.
Crystal Lake Central's boys golf team won its second straight regional title, while Ian Metzger earned medalist honors to lead Rochelle to its first sectional since 2009. Prairie Ridge placed runner-up in the nine-team regional to also advance.
