Harvard firefighters put out a fire that Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, burned an empty barn.

There were no injuries Wednesday after a fire burned an empty Harvard barn, fire officials said.

The fire started about 10:30 a.m. in the 19800 block of Route 173, Harvard Fire Protection District Chief Larry Kane said Thursday. The blaze possibly was caused by winds that picked up a fire the owner was burning nearby, Kane said.
