Three hospitalized after porch collapse Saturday in Spring Grove

Two people were taken to the hospital following a porch collapse Saturday afternoon on Lincoln Avenue in Spring Grove.

The Fox Lake Fire Protection District responded to a second-story porch collapse, Corinne Bauer, acting shift commander for the fire department said. Bauer said a third person took themselves to the hospital. Bauer said their conditions were “stable.”

Bauer said the scene had been turned over to the Lake County Building Department.
