IHSA State Finals: At Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington, Burlington Central took runner-up in the Class 2A preliminaries to advance to Saturday’s finals. The Rockets scored 90.80 points, which was second to Geneva’s 93.44.

Crystal Lake South just missed advancing to the finals in 2A. The Gators took 13th with 84.36 points. The 12th and final qualifying spot went to Deerfield (84.58).
In Class 3A, Jacobs fell two spots short of advancing to the finals. The Golden Eagles were 14th with a score of 88.50. Oswego East (89.52) grabbed the 12th and final qualifying spot.
