A village of Verona trustee has been hit with four felony charges for alleged criminal sexual assault of a minor, the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.

Seneca police have charged two people in connection with a March 25 shooting, believed to be an accident, that injured patrons at a Seneca tavern.

A jury convicted a Morris man who skipped his trial for a sucker punch at a Geneva bar and a judge sentenced him to three and a half years in prison.
