BEST students use art class as a means of self-expression to explore emotions, thoughts, creativity

The students at Bureau County Special Schools in Tiskilwa participated in an art class that focused on using art as a means of self-expression to explore emotions, thoughts and creativity.

Led by Courtney Engel, this class challenged the students’ brains to think creatively, to confront and overcome mental hurdles with resilience, and to build emotional empathy.
