Keighley Davis, Princeton score nonconference win at Rochelle: Monday BCR roundup

Princeton 53, Rochelle 48: Keighley Davis scored 20 points to lead the Tigresses to a road win over their former NCIC rivals Monday at Rochelle.

Olivia Mattingly chipped in 11 points and Camryn Driscoll added eight.

Princeville 47, Bureau Valley 32: Emily Wright scored nine points for the Storm in a Lincoln Trail Conference loss at the Storm Cellar on Monday.

St. Bede 45, Putnam County 30: Savannah Bray scored 14 points and Ashlyn Ehm and Lili McClain added 11 each as the Bruins (16-9, 7-4) picked up a Tri-County Conference win St. Bede.

For the Panthers, Eme Bouxsein had 13 points and Maggie Spratt added 11.

Boys basketball

Roanoke-Benson 50, St. Bede 38: The No. 7 Bruins fell to the No. 2 Rockets in the quarterfinals of the Tri-County Conference tournament in Granville on Monday.

Kaden Nauman led the Bruins with 11 points and Carson Riva added eight.

The Bruins will return to action in Thursday’s consolation round while the Irish advance to Wednesday’s semifinals.
