Bab’s Brew at 2130 Fourth St. in Peru served its first cup of coffee Thursday.
The coffee shop celebrated the opening with a ribbon-cutting attended by friends, family, public officials and patrons.
Bab’s Brew is an immobile coffee trailer selling specialty coffee drinks, according to the agreement. The trailer will remain in its location.
Peru Mayor Ken Kolowski said Bab’s Brew was off to a successful start.
“We are very excited about this new addition downtown,” he said. “We are so pleased that Bab’s Brew has invested in our downtown and into the city of Peru community.”
