Next month, the Peru Hy-Vee’s in-store restaurant, Wahlburgers, will transition back to a Hy-Vee Market Grille.
The transition will happen across Hy-Vee in phases starting this week, and a new menu will debut with a focus on breakfast and burgers. Beginning Feb. 4, all Hy-Vee restaurants will offer a new breakfast menu. A new lunch and dinner menu will roll out throughout the month of February.
The new menus will bring back Hy-Vee Market Grille burgers, BLT and club sandwiches as well as pork tenderloin sandwiches while still offering items such as wings and wontons. Hash browns also are returning to the new breakfast menu. Other traditional breakfast items will include omelets, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast, and a breakfast burrito.
Weekday hours for Market Grille locations will be from 6 to 11 a.m. for breakfast and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for lunch and dinner. Breakfast will be available from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends, with a special brunch buffet offered at select locations. All Market Grille locations will offer dine-in and carryout service, as well as third-party delivery. Most locations will have counter service, where customers order at a counter and staff will bring orders to their table. After the transition, Hy-Vee will have a total of 221 Market Grille and Market Grille Express locations across the Midwest.
Wahlburgers, a chain restaurant owned by Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg, opened in the Peru Hy-Vee in 2022. The company entered into a partnership with Hy-Vee in 2018.
