Sweet Stroll to return Feb. 8 to downtown DeKalb

The event, which will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, will see more than a dozen businesses play host to vendors of speciality sweets, as well as fun activities.

DeKALB – DeKalb will hold its third annual Sweet Stroll on Saturday, a weekend local shopping event featuring special vendors at downtown businesses.

The Sweet Stroll will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday in downtown DeKalb.

Attendees can buy sweets at various downtown businesses. The sweets range from cupcakes to chocolate-covered strawberries. Sweet Stroll Passports will be provided. Participants can have the passports stamped at the businesses. Attendees who submit passports will be entered for a chance to win a Valentine’s Day prize.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Sweet Stroll back for its third year. It’s a fun and interactive way to support local businesses while enjoying delicious treats and celebrating the season of love,” Willrett Flower Company co-owner Mary Grace McCauley said in a news release.
