DeKALB – DeKalb Township Supervisor Mary Hess is running for reelection in the April, she announced.
Hess, who has been DeKalb Township Supervisor since 2021 after serving as a township trustee, announced her campaign in a news release on Monday.
In the announcement, she touted four successes from her term in office: lowering taxes, developing community services, expanding needs-based assistance programs and collaborating with area nonprofit government entities.
“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together over the past few years,” Hess said in the release. “From expanding services to providing meaningful assistance to those in need, we’ve worked hard to ensure our community thrives — all without increasing the tax burden on our residents. But there’s more to be done, and I’m asking for your support to continue this important work.”
