Here is a photo of Joyce and Walter Hasbrook. They have been married for over 60 years and Joyce would visit Walt every day, no matter what, before COVID-19. They have a wonderful relationship even living apart due to their commitment. Joyce found a way to bring joy and a daily reminder to not only Walt but all the staff and residents with this colorful Easter tree. It was put in the ground in front of the window so anyone passing by could enjoy. Joyce also made a large note to Walt and was able to watch, through the glass doors, the staff present it to him on her behalf. It’s hard for Walt to understand why his wife isn’t visiting so she also wrote a small note for his room stating why and that she will be back in as soon as she is allowed. (Photo contributed)
