McHenry was no match for Stevenson, the state’s top-ranked team, in a 21-2 loss Friday at the Deerfield Sectional semifinals.

The Warriors had reached the semifinals with a 12-11 win Thursday over Lake Forest. Michael Matusek recorded seven goals in the contest, and Riley Hedberg added three scores. Jonah Smith and Luke Rose each had one goal.
