With a six-run first inning, the Fulton baseball team had enough cushion to hold off a Forreston comeback Saturday in the Class 1A Amboy Regional championship game.

Fulton took fourth place at the Pearl City Softball tournament on Saturday, April 12, 2025. The Steamers beat West Carroll before falling to Stockton and Milledgeville.

Morrison downed the Marcos in baseball and softball action on Thursday, April 10, 2025. The Mustangs beat the Marcos 16-3 and the Fillies shut out the Lady Marcos 16-0.

With the win, the Mustangs advance to the Prophetstown Regional to face Rock Falls on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Game time is 6 p.m. Chase Newman led Morrison with 13 points followed by DeShaun McQueen with 12. Oregon was led by Keaton Salsbury with 17 points and Jameson Caposey with 15 pts.
