1. Follow Your Art: 5-9 p.m., Thursday, downtown Joliet. Celebrate the season of love with art-inspired activities at more than dozen downtown businesses. Features include free entertainment, workshops, and food and drink specials. For more information, visit jolietccp.com/followyourart.

2. Valentines Party for Kids at the Museum: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Joliet Area Historical Museum, 204 N Ottawa St., Joliet. Crafts corner, create personalized gifts and learn the art of making heartfelt valentines, DJ dance party, games and activities. $5 museum members or $9 general public. 3. Black History Month Celebration: A Day of Living History: 11 a.m., Fairmont City Community Center, 525 Barry Ave., Lockport. Living history, immersive performances, mural of Black history figures, hands-on workshops, live reenactors and historical exhibits from the Will County.
