All JJC campuses closed through 4 p.m. Tuesday due to weather

Joliet college will make decision by 2 p.m. for evening onsite labs

All Joliet Junior College campuses will be closed through 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, due to winter weather conditions.

JJC employees should work remotely, a news release from the college said.

For evening onsite labs, a decision on evening operations will be made and announced by 2 p.m.

On Tuesday morning, The National Weather Service’s Facebook page said, “hazardous travel conditions will persist early this morning due to snow covered roads.”

The Joliet Weather Center’s Facebook page said more than 6 inches of snow had fallen in Joliet by 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
