Lemont’s annual Halloween Hoedown is back from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Lemont. Here’s a rundown of the day’s activities:
10:15 a.m. - Arrive for the costume contest in the small northeast Metra lot. The contest begins at 10:30 a.m.
11 a.m. - Parade participants leave the Metra lot and head east on Canal Street to Stephen Street to Front Street.
11 a.m. to noon - Trick-or-treat at participating businesses. Look for door signs that welcome trick-or-treaters.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Safety Village trick-or-treating, hay wagon rides and fun festivities on the west end of Front Street. Activities include a bouncy corn maze, Casper bouncy, face painting, balloon artist, games and a DJ.
11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Special spooky photo booth with Molly Hebda Photography at 226 Main St.
Noon Allegro Music and Dance Academy - Special Halloween Dance performance on Canal Street
