Joliet police officers responded to the shooting last Saturday in the 300 block of Third Avenue.

Portillo’s Vice President of Restaurant Support Michael Portillo will attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Plainfield location, which will include a check presentation to Bags of Hope, Portillo’s charity partner.

Jalen Davis, 18 of Joliet, has been charged with three counts of burglary, possession of burglary tools, criminal damage to property and obstructing identification.

The home was occupied at the time of the shooting but no injuries were reported, Joliet police said.

Partrick McDonald, 67, passed away on Tuesday night after an 18-month battle with cancer, the City of Lockport said.
