Paul Schrik named new superintendent of Troy 30-C

Rockdale Superintendent will begin at Troy in July

The Troy Community School District 30-C school board named Rockdale School District 84 Superintendent Paul Schrik as its new superintendent by a unanimous vote, according to a news release from the district.

Schrik’s role takes effect July 1, according to the release. He is superintendent of Rockdale School District 84 and a former human resources executive director at Troy. Schrik will replace retiring Troy Superintendent Todd Koehl.

He has previously served Serena Grade School as principal, Shepherd Middle School as a science and social studies teacher, Washington Elementary School as a mathematics teacher and Ogden Avenue School as a sixth grade teacher.

Schrik earned his Doctorate of Education Degree from Northern Illinois University in 2017. He also has an education specialist degree, a chief school business official certificate and a master’s degree in educational edministration.
