Trinity Services, Inc. will honor Chad Kodiak of KodoCare Pharmacy at its dinner dance on Sept. 18.
The 32nd Annual Better Together Dinner Dance & Auction will be held at The Odyssey in Tinley Park.
Proceeds benefit about 5,500 people with developmental disabilities and mental throughout Illinois who receive support from Trinity Services, according to a news release from Trinity Services.
Earlier this year, Kodiak secured COVID-19 vaccines “for people with disabilities and staff members who support them earlier this year,” the release said.
Also earlier this year, the Arnold P. Gold Foundation recognized Kodiak as a 2021 Champions of Humanistic Care. Since January, Kodiak had helped people get the COVID vaccines, especially those with disabilities, those who live in group homes and the homebound.
In a June 28 Herald-News story, Kodiak estimated he had given more than 30,000 vaccines since January.
Other features of the event include a virtual or in-person silent and live auctions, a Heads or Tails game that offers a chance to win up to $500 in Amazon gift cards, fine dining and music from The Nightshift.
