Car, truck collide on Joliet’s west side

A car collided with a semi-trailer truck in Joliet Thursday night.

The accident happened at the intersection of McDonough Street and Houbolt Road on the city’s west side.

Joliet police reported the crashed caused “serious injuries.”

As of 7:30 p.m. the roadway was closed down, according to Joliet police.

No further information was available at the time.
