Will County Pets of the Week: Jan. 27, 2025

Sarge is an adorable 2-year-old male Lab mix that recently came to NAWS from animal control partners. He loves everyone he meets. One-year-old Nuko was rescued from a local animal control, where he was at risk of euthanasia. Nuko is very outgoing and curious. He is chatty and begs for attention. Cupcake is a smart and energetic 2-year-old pit/shepherd mix weighing just over 60 pounds. Cupcake needs an experienced owner to work on her training and manners. She learns quickly and is very treat-motivated. Cupcake also needs a home without cats or children. Dragon is a large and friendly domestic shorthair that was abandoned locally. He is 10 years old and weighs about 16 pounds. He enjoys lounging in beds and watching the birds outside. Timothy is affectionate, loves belly rubs and will happily roll over for pets, tapping your arm to keep the pets coming. He does well with other cats and even dogs. He’s gentle, kind and particularly enjoys the company of other male cats. He even showed patience and tolerance when a group of kittens nuzzled his belly after being weaned from their mother. Stripes and Junior are bonded brothers that have transitioned from street life to the comfort of foster care. Although they’re friendly and love to roll around at people’s feet, they can be a bit shy at first. Stripes and Junior adore big windows and thrive on pets and attention. They are overwhelmed by sudden movements or loud noises, so a home with older kids would be best. They need a home without other cats. They are learning to trust dogs.
