Growing up with a hearing impairment, art instructor Carolyn Kyle knows the restorative value in finding community. Kyle established "Art for Everyone" with the Yorkville Public Library to offer art classes designed for those with special needs.

Children can come to the Yorkville Public Library select a book and read to a furry friend.

The Yorkville Public Library announced its lineup youth services programming for the month of March, including escape room adventures, lego tournaments, art and yoga classes, book clubs and more.

The book sale is Saturday, Sept. 4 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.at the Yorkville Public Library, 902 Game Farm Rd. in the Michelle Pfister Meeting Room.
