Blues rock funk fusion band Covington Groove will celebrate the release of their debut album Nov. 15 at The Venue in Aurora.

Award-winning singer songwriter Grace Pettis will perform at The Venue in downtown Aurora at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22. Pettis will be highlighting music from her latest record “Down to the Letter.”

The series are Jazz Sessions at The Venue, She Said with Anne Harris and Dead Night. Jazz Sessions begin Oct. 10, She Said begins Oct. 12 and Dead Night will begin Oct. 17.

“She Said with Anne Harris” will debut on The Venue stage at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12. Host and series curator Anne Harris will journey into the creative processes and lives of some of the most intriguing women making music.

Claire Kelly will perform with folk trio Little Hill on Sunday, Sept. 15 at The Venue. Kelly has songs on ABC Network, HBO Max, Hallmark, Netflix and more.

Richey is widely known from her critically acclaimed self-titled 1995 debut album. She has become a favorite of many singer songwriters, and will be opening for Jason Isbell when he tours this fall.

Some of the artists performing at The Venue in downtown Aurora in August include Grammy-nominated Kim Richey and Noah Gabriel.

Comedian and author Stephen Kellogg will perform July 27, while the documentary "Woodstock" will be screened for free on July 28.

You don't have to travel to Chicago to enjoy blues and jazz music. There are several venues in the Fox Valley area where you can get your groove on.

Primer will perform on Friday, June 21 and Wiesner will be on stage on Saturday, June 22. A Fleetwood Mac tribute band will play the Aurora stage next weekend.

The Rock Talk series returns on April 14 with Professor

Acclaimed musicians Shannon McNally and Beth Bombara will perform at The Venue in downtown Aurora on Friday, April 12.

The Irish Mystics will perform a benefit concert at The Venue on Saturday, March 16 for St. Patrick’s Day. All proceeds will benefit Fox Valley Music Foundation.

Local schools include Thompson Middle School in St. Charles, Oswego High School, Naperville Central High School, College of DuPage and more.

Cesar Rosas, singer and guitarist of the iconic group Los Lobos, will return to The Venue in downtown Aurora on Friday, Jan. 19.

Band leader Howard Levy is well-known for his contributions as a member of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones.

Terrapin Flyer has been known as Chicago’s premier Grateful Dead tribute band for over 20 years, and as part of The Venue’s Dead Night, the band performs the second Thursday of every month.

Meagan McNeil, who performed on "The Voice" television show, will be among the artists.

Dan Navarro and The Cash Box Kings are among the eclectic lineup of artists headed to The Venue's stage in Aurora.
