IDOT unveiled its plans for improvements to the railway between Braidwood and Elwood in Will County that is tied to the high-speed rail through Illinois.

The hearing on rail system plan will be in an open-house format from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fossil Ridge Public Library in Braidwood.

Pace hosted a family-friendly event in Joliet following the dedication of its bus terminal to former State Senator Larry Walsh.
