Autumn on Parade was founded in 1970 and is organized and operated by an all-volunteer committee.

A parade and plenty of fun and food were all part of the annual Autumn on Parade festival held on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4-5, 2025 in downtown Oregon, Illinois.

The Ottawa Fall Fest & Parade took place on Sunday. The parade was followed by live music and food trucks around the Jordan Block.

The 2025 Dixon High School Homecoming Parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3. Motorists should expect the route to be closed off to traffic for about one hour and are asked to use alternate routes.

Ottawa High School held its annual homecoming parade on Wednesday in downtown Ottawa.

On Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, Rochelle Township High School's Homecoming parade was held and made its way through the downtown area and the city. Students from sports teams and school organizations took part in the parade. Retiring RTHS golf coach and teacher Glen Mehrings was the parade's grand marshal. RTHS will take on LaSalle-Peru on Friday in its Homecoming game.

Rock Falls High School marched through Rock Falls with a parade Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, to welcome back students and alumni for homecoming. The RFHS Class of 1985 will be cheering on the Rockets at the homecoming football game on Friday night and gathering at Cochrans after the game. The class members at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, will tour Rock Falls High School, and starting at 6 p.m. will gather at The Classroom in Nelson.

Road closures will begin around 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, in Rock Falls. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m.

The 27th version of the Manteno Oktoberfest begins Thursday and runs through Sunday in the heart of the village's business district.

Hall High School conducted its annual homecoming parade Thursday through Spring Valley, followed by other activities at Richard Nesti Stadium. Hall-Putnam County hosts Sherrard in football on Friday at 7p.m.

The annual Fiesta Parade will be Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, with the parade beginning at 1 p.m. in Rock Falls and ending in Sterling.
