Newman's Ray Sharp, Eastland's Tyler Zumdahl and Oregon's Jarrett Reynolds were named IBCA Coaches of the Year on the boys side. Newman's Herb Martin, Eastland's Nicole Brinker and Dixon's Luke Ravlin were recognized on the girls side.

Dixon took advantage of 12 walks, six errors and Layne Vannoy pitched a gem in relief as the Dukes won 16-6 at Oregon in Big Northern Conference action. Eli Kirchoff led Dixon with four RBIs.
