Two coronal mass ejections (CMEs) created sparking geomagnetic storm conditions, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Space weather forecasters anticipate that geomagnetic activity may intensify to strong (G3) conditions overnight and could be around again tomorrow night.
