Faces and vehicles were lit up for the 2025 Plano Rockin’ Christmas on Dec. 5. Community members were serenaded by students performing in the Plano Middle School Jazz Band and the Emily G Johns Band.

What began as burning leaves on a windy autumn day, ended in a fence and garage catching fire with an estimated $45,000 in damages in Yorkville.

Multiple vehicles in the garage were found to be engulfed in flames, according to the Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District.

The sheriff’s office described the injuries to all parties as non-life threatening.

The sheriff’s office said their preliminary investigation into the crash indicates a vehicle was traveling southbound on Rock Creek Road when it left the roadway and struck a tree.

In a press statement, the sheriff’s office reported the crash occurred on Galena Road at Rock Creek Road.
