Authorities have identified a 75-year old woman who died in a house fire in Minooka on Monday. The investigation by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office remains ongoing.

“After speaking with numerous students, staff, and parents, no credible threat was determined to exist,” the sheriff’s office said.
Tony Baker, superintendent of Plano CUSD 88, said the district would use initial funds to extend its summer learning program, adding that the program’s enrollment of about 500 students is the highest its been in recent years.
