A 12-year-old bicyclist was injured after an SUV hit them Saturday while they crossed a street in Leaf River. Their injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

The Leaf River Lions Club hosted a Breakfast with Bunny on April 8, 2023, at the Bertolet Building in Leaf River. An Easter egg hunt in the park surrounding the Bertolet Building followed breakfast.
More than 700 people attended the Leaf River Firemen’s Pancake Supper, which took place the evening of Feb. 25. Leaf River firefighters and EMTs served pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee and milk; the cost was a donation.
