The Aspen Institute recently named Kishwaukee College as one of the 200 institutions eligible to compete for the $1 million Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s premier recognition of high achievement and performance among two-year colleges.

Kishwaukee College’s Tutoring Services department recently received certification of its online tutoring program through the Association of Colleges for Tutoring and Learning Assistance.

The Kishwaukee Council of Support Staff Union and the Kishwaukee College Board of Trustees agreed to a new, four-year contract earlier this year.

Community leaders came together Thursday to offer Sycamore-centered updates on economic growth, parks and education in what the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce billed as a state of the community address.

Kishwaukee College has announced the graduates for summer and fall 2020.
