What are the top issues facing your county and what would you like to do to address those issues? "We have uncontrolled population growth due to unrestricted housing development by contractors that are using our “Green” space without thinking of the consequences."

Question: What local road and bridge projects should be a priority to get done in the county? Answer: State and local roads that need complete rebuild are Rt 47 North, Rt 30 all through the county. Oswego Wolf Road needs to be done NOW.

Question: What are the top issues facing your county and what would you like to do to address those issues? Scott Gengler: Taxes: Work with state legislators to help lesson the burden on the property owners.

Kendall County Young Republicans Chairman Gabriella Shanahan of Joliet edged out Oswego Township Truste Diane Selmer for the final nomination slot.

Kendall County Board member Brian DeBolt of Plano was the top vote-getter in the GOP primary for a seat on the Kendall County Board from District 1.
