Season features renowned soloists, powerful masterworks by Brahms, Gershwin, Strauss, Grieg, Coleman, Dvořák and more.

The concert includes more than 100 musicians and vocalists, including the sopranos and altos of the Elgin Master Chorale.

“Melodies of Resilience” will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23 at Journey of Hope United Methodist Church, 37W040 W. Highland Ave. in Elgin, to recognize the resilience and culture of the Ukrainian people

Stella Chen, Gramophone's 2023 Young Artist of the Year, will perform with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra March 1 & 2.

Matthew Agnew, who has led the orchestra’s cello section since 2002, and is known for his passionate performances across Chicagoland, will perform Saint-Saëns’ First Cello Concerto in the Jan. 25-26 concerts.

Festive concerts to feature Elgin Master Chorale, Integrity School of Dance, Santa Claus Dec. 14-15.

Proceeds from the event will benefit PADS of Elgin.

The concert will feature Christmas favorites, including “Silent Night,” “O Holy Night,” “Sleigh Ride” and holiday traditions such as “O Tannenbaum,” selections from “The Nutcracker” and “Carol of the Bells,” among others.

The fall season features Elgin Symphony Orchestra String Quartet, Liam Teague and Vocal Duo of Diva Montell and Jeorge Holmes.

Isabella Lippi will perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4 with the orchestra on March 2 and 3. She is a 2024 Fox Valley Arts Hall of Fame inductee.

Eighteen Jewish musicians’ instruments saved from the Holocaust era and restored by Israeli master violin makers will make their way to the stage of the Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin in the hands of Elgin Symphony Orchestra members at 8 p.m. May 20.

The concert features guest vocalists and The Adrian Dunn Singers.

A rising star violinist, Randall Goosby, will be a featured artist with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra on Feb. 5 and 6, under the baton of guest conductor Ankush Kumar Bahl.
