Here's some storylines to follow for the 2025 season for the St Bede, Princeton and Bureau Valley softball teams and the Hall and St. Bede baseball teams.

BV's Landon Hulsing was joined by Annawan's Brody Childs and Maddux Heitzler on first-team Lincoln Trail team. Also for BV, seniors Elijah Endress was named to the second team and Landen Birdsley earned honorable mention. LaMoille's Tyler Billhorn was named first-team Little Ten.

The Storm standout will miss her senior season, sidelined by a season-ending knee injury playing for the Bureau Valley girls basketball team on Nov. 22 in the third game of the season. On the same day, she signed to play Div. 1 softball for Southeast Missouri State.

The St. Bede, LaMoille, Bureau Valley and DePue boys basketball teams lost Wednesday.

Jesse scored seven points in the fourth quarter to give the Tigresses just the spark they needed in a 50-35 Class 2A regional semifinal win over Sandwich Tuesday at Prouty Gym. They will Alleman, which beat Bureau Valley 54-26, for the regional championship on Thursday.

Bureau Valley and Princeton will be playing in opposite semifinal contests in the Class 2A Princeton Regional. The Storm will face top-seeded Rock Island Alleman at 6 p.m. followed by the Tigresses vs. Sandwich at 7:30 p.m. Host St. Bede will meet Marquette at 7:30 p.m. in 1A.
