Firefighters responded at 2:19 p.m. to the 7800 block of Galena Road. Upon arrival, heavy smoke was seen coming from a shed, piles of wood and a wooden fence, according to the release.

One person was treated for a minor injury in Yorkville following a fire that began in a residential bathroom before smoke filled an adjacent bedroom and hallway.

There were no reported injuries to any of the community members or firefighters. None of the freed vehicle passengers needed to be transferred to the hospital.

At 9:40 p.m., Sunday, the Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District responded to a fire at a house in the 6000 block of Legacy Circle in Yorkville, according to a news release from the district.

No one was injured in a barn fire in Yorkville Monday night.
