The Romeoville High School Marching Spartans will host the seventh annual Spartan Classic, featuring marching bands from throughout the Chicago suburbs, on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Plainfield South High School will host its seventh annual marching band invitational on Saturday at the school. Marching bands from the Chicago area will be competing.

The National Champion American Legion Senior Band is hosting a concert on Sunday, June 2 to raise money to send its members to New Orleans in August to compete once again in the American Legion National Conference competition.
