February marks Career Technical Education (CTE) Month, a time to celebrate the power of hands-on learning and career-focused education. At Sauk Valley Community College (SVCC), we’re not just preparing students for jobs—we’re building futures and strengthening the fabric of our community.

Join us for our CTE Open House on February 27th from 6 -8 p.m.This is your chance to explore our programs up close, visit classrooms, and meet our knowledgeable professors. The evening will feature 30-minute blocks of time for you to explore seven areas of concentration: Agriculture, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Health Careers (Nursing, Sonography, Radiology), Multi-craft (including HVAC), and Welding.
