Services set for 22-year-old Dixon man killed in rollover

DIXON – Services will be held Tuesday for a 22-year-old Dixon man killed Friday in a rollover near Harmon.

Charles “Nathan” Williamson died around midnight when his eastbound pickup truck went off U.S. Route 30 near Harmon Road, the Lee County Sheriff’s Department said.

Williamson, who attended Rock Falls schools, had worked at Markman Peat and was working at Kitzman’s Lumber in Dixon at the time of his death. He was an outdoorsman, an avid fisherman who loved to hunt, canoe, and search for morrel mushrooms, his family said in his obituary.

Among others, he is survived by his parents, Charlie and Tessa Williamson, and his siblings, Kyle and Brandon McCallister and Elizabeth Giddings.

A gathering of friends and family begins at 9 a.m. and a service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls. The Rev. Scott Porter will officiate.
