Senior forward Darius Harrington became Dixon's new all-time leading scorer after passing Beau Bailey with a 25-point performance in a 62-40 win over Oregon on Tuesday at the Blackhawk Center.

Rock Falls finished strong in a 63-56 BNC win over Winnebago on senior night as Ryken Howard and Kuitim Heald each scored 21 points and Cole Mulnix added 14 off the bench. The Rockets have won six straight games.

Dixon battled but fell short as 3-point misses and a late turnover were costly in a 67-63 Big Northern Conference setback to Rockford Lutheran at home on Saturday night.

Cason Newton scored 33 points, and Byron scored a season-high by a Pecatonica opponent, but the Tigers fell short in an 83-70 loss to the No. 1 Indians.

Newman ended the game right where it started Wednesday against Erie-Prophetstown. The Comets built a big lead with a huge opening run, then pulled away with a second-half surge for a 65-39 Three Rivers East victory.
