Dixon’s downtown intersections see crosswalk enhancements

Intersections along Peoria, Hennepin and Ottawa avenues in Dixon are getting upgrades as workers improve the crosswalks. Work began Aug. 20, with workers from Helm Construction cutting out old concrete. Drivers are asked to use caution when going through the areas on Peoria Avenue at River, First and Second streets; Hennepin Avenue at River, First and Second streets; and Ottawa Avenue at First Street.
