The Putnam County baseball team has holes to fill, but coach Chris Newsome said the Panthers have a good nucleus of returners and newcomers eager to step up.

Jake Miller threw a one-hitter to lead the Henry-Senachwine baseball team to a 1-0 win over Putnam County in the Class 1A Putnam County Regional championship.
