The Putnam County Record will be following a multitude of municipal, school and library elections from around the county. This article will continue to be updated as unofficial results are reported.

Incumbent Chivohn Holocker and newcomers Edward Zimmerlein, Matthew Gimbal, Gwen King and Monica Frund are running to fill the three seats vacated by current members.

Aside from various federal and state races, voters also had their chance to shape countywide races including the contested Putnam County Sheriff and County Board races.

The early election day theme on Tuesday across Bureau and Putnam Counties, was that the polling places were staying busy with voters taking advantage of the last chance to have their voices heard.

Republicans anticipate a “red tide” at the polls this November; but for local races the campaign funds collected this spring had more of a blue tint.
