In a nonconference match between two teams working several new faces into the lineup and trying to find their footing early in the season, Oregon came up with the surges when it needed to in a 25-11, 25-16 win over Newman on Thursday night at the Blackhawk Center.


Looking to build some momentum in a Big Northern Conference road game, Oregon scored midway through the second half Wednesday to break a scoreless tie in a 1-0 win over Dixon at A.C. Bowers Field.


After some fireworks on its first snap, Dixon struggled to finish off drives until finding its mojo again in the second half, and the Dukes went on to defeat Big Northern foe Oregon 35-0 at A.C. Bowers Field on Friday night.
