The Fox Lake Police Department, in partnership with state Rep. Tom Weber, will host a medication dropoff event from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Fox Lake Police Department, 301 Route 59.

Prescription medications, ointments and patches, pet medications and over-the-counter medications will be accepted. Needles and illegal drugs will not be accepted.
