Huntley's Matt Lewandowski, who led the Red Raiders to a 13-3-3 record, a 9-0 Fox Valley Conference record and FVC championship, is the 2025 Northwest Herald Boys Soccer Coach of the Year.

The IHSSCA has released its 2025 All-Sectional and All-State boys soccer awards. Over a dozen McHenry County-area schools are represented on the list. Crystal Lake South's Pierce Johnson, Huntley's Tyler Murray and Harvard's Jesus Aquino each received IHSSCA All-State honors.
