Richard Tado: I think the nine censures against Algonquin Township Supervisor Randy Funk are absolutely unacceptable and criminal. Funk should be investigated by the Township Officials of Illinois and charges should be filed by the McHenry County States Attorney.

Top priority is to Get Funk, Yelle, Colatorti, Brynes, Huff and Rinn-Alcock elected. These are common sense folks who know how to run a small business and are not in favor of raising taxes.

Development plans backed by McHenry Mayor Wayne Jett were scuttled after City Council colleagues balked. Now he's up for reelection and faces a challenge from council member Chris Bassi.
